The deadline for registering for courses can be viewed at https://www.tri-c.edu/paying-for-college/tuition-and-fees/tuition-payment-deadlines.html.

  • All NEW students register for classes during Orientation
  • Continuing students should refer to the Academic Calendar for registration dates  
  • Returning students that are required to complete a Returning Student application if they have not attended within the last 3 academic semesters. If you are not required to re-apply, refer to the Academic Calendar for registration dates.

To register in-person, please visit a campus Enrollment Center during business hours:

To register or add a course online:
If you have holds on your account preventing online registration, you will need to select the “Browse Courses” option on the Registration tab and complete a registration card at an Enrollment Center to register in-person. If a student cannot make it to the campus to register in-person but is required to, please contact the Enrollment Center Manager/ Associate Director at that campus Enrollment Center.

*Please note, payment is due at the time of registration.

Step 1: Log into student portal (my Tri-C space) at my.tri-c.edu.

If logging in the first time, follow these instructions:

Step 2: Click on the Registration Tab, Register (Add/Drop Courses)

Step 3: Click the Register link

Step 4: Select the Term of registration from the drop-down menu and click Continue

Step 5: Select the Subject and enter the course number (if known) for the course that you want to search for and enter the campus(es) that you would like to take the class at. Click Advanced Search for other options such as days and times, instructor preferences or instructional method preferences. Click Search.

Step 6: Click the Add button in front of the course that you want to add. Anything that states Registration Unavailable is usually full or has already begun (You will see this in front of all courses if you are searching through the Browse Courses option).

Step 7: Your selected schedule will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Search Again to add more classes

Step 8: Once you have made your selections, click the Submit button.

If there are errors preventing registration, the screen will look like this and the messages about the specific courses will be up in the right corner of the screen. Click submit to remove these courses.

If registration is successful, you will see the status has updated to Registered and there will be check marks in front of the courses on the displayed schedule.
