Yes, you may request an appeal of your current SAP status. You must contact the Financial Aid Office to see if your status is one that can be appealed. If so, the advisor can give you a SAP appeal packet or it can be printed from the website. You will also be required to complete an online SAP Success Seminar. An Academic Plan must also be submitted with the SAP Appeal and SAP Success Seminar.

Submission: You may submit your appeal and supporting documentation in-person, postal mail, email or fax. See instructions on "How do I submit financial aid documents (fax, email, in-person, mail)?"

Deadline: Appeals are due, with all supporting documentation marked as received, by:

  • Spring 2020: January 27, 2020
  • Summer 2020: June 8, 2020
  • Fall 2020: September 8, 2020

You will receive a response within 10 business days (outside of peak time - peak is considered the week prior to the start and the first week of the 16 week term) from the date you submitted your appeal and documentation (and if you are not registered for the current term, if you are your appeal will not be reviewed until grades roll).
